Temple Tours and Knocking Doors!
Letter from April 23
I love when you work so hard for so long that you can hardly breathe. It is so satisfying. It is even better when you see so much success and milagros come out of it. This last week we had Interviews with President White and he challenged us to find a New Investigator in the next two weeks and Put them on Date to be baptized. well.. We found 3 in two days!!!!! WOoHOo
We had a Temple tour with Ivan and Ari this week and they absolutely loved it. We were all filled with the Spirit of the Lord and also with tears. We showed them around and told them about all of the great things that we do and will do for our Heavenly Father. At the end of the tour we sat down and let them pray by themselves and just think. We sat there for 10-15 minutes and i can not believe how strong the Spirit was. After showing them Gods house, Ari ran to Ivan and gave him a huge hug and said that she has never felt that before and wanted to be able to feel it forever. They are the greatest and are sper excited to be baptized here soon.
So one of them is named Javier. We we're lead to him by the Lord for sure. Elder Rockwood and I were out tracting in an apartment complex trying to find a referral sent to us from the Sisters in the area, well... they didn't include his apartment number and I swear there are about 200 apartments in this complex. We got to work on knocking doors trying to find Pedro and can not seem to find him. We knocked and Knocked until we got to Javier. He was the last door that we were going to knock on before we headed off to dinner. He let us in and we talked to him. He told us that right before we knocked he was watching a video about prayer on Facebook and right as he finished watching it, he prayed for himself. Right as he ended his prayer, he heard 3 knocks. We taught his about the restoration of Jesus Christ and as we got to the first Vision we testified of how God answers our prayers, in some ways you receive a Huge miraculous answer and in others, God sends two young men to your door to talk to you. He knows that we are sent from God to help him grow closer to Heavenly Father. He is preparing to be Baptized on May 19th and is asking for every Sunday off of work and is ready to change his life to follow God.
I have received many answers to my prayers, and being an answer to someones prayer is the best feeling in the world. I know that God lives and that He loves every single one of us so much. Follow Him and listen to the council from His Disciples.
