TRANSFERS!!!!

Letter from Jan 2

Welp transfers are already here and I am luckily staying here in Grandview but not with Elder Anderson. He finished his mission this transfer and should be on an airplane heading back to Georgia right this very moment. I still don't know who m y new Companion is going to be but i will find out tomorrow when I go to the Training meeting. Yeahh... I AM TRAINING!!!!! I will be picking him up from the Church by the Mission home tomorrow morning at 10! I am super excited to train this transfer and I am also super nervous. but mostly Excited!!!

This week has been all sorts of crazy because of all the Holidays. Frist off Christmas was great, and then my Birthday this week was good as well. Elder Anderson and I got the chance to go to the Temple together that day with the AP's. It was supposed to be only for the Departing missionaries but right as we pulled into the parking lot at the Temple, President Canceled it because of the road conditions (There was freezing rain the night before.) And then new years, we partied hard from 6-9:30. After 9:30 is quiet time because our neighbor upstairs goes to bed at this time. And also as a missionary you cant really party hard. But we had a good time packing and eating the little food that we had in our apartment. And now transfers are coming up and elder Tuliloa is leaving us to go to Pasco to be a Zone Leader.

I am more than Grateful to be serving the Lord as a missionary at this time in my life. There is nothing better that I could be doing right now.

Letter from Dec 4 This week, there was a Nativity showcase in West Richland and we were given the opportunity to usher and greet people at it. It was really quite neat to see all the different Nativity sets from all around the world. Every classroom in the Church was packed full of them. It was cool. about 10 minutes after we had left the showcase, we got a call from Ricardo and Sujey saying that they were just pulling up to the church and were wondering if we were gonna be there. But Sadly we werent able to be there with them. Last week Elder Anderson were teaching Ricardo and Sujey and they told us that he was having some bounce back pains from the frostbite he had last year from working out in the fields. After they told us, Sujey had told him a little bit about Priesthood blessing and shared some experiences that she has had from receiving them. Letter from Nov 27 This week was FULL of miracles, like literally. I was stuffed full on thanksgiving, Martin got the Priesthood, and priesthood blessings. Thanksgiving was awesome, i love pigging out and eating all the food i can. Especially turkey, I love turkey. On thanksgiving we were asked not to go out Tracting so we went around sharing #LightTheWorld and offering our service to people. It was a wonderful day. We ate dinner with some members and got to look at some really cool cars, They had a 58 Chevy Camaro and a 28 Chevy. After dinner we had a Zone council and talked a lot about how we can use Light the World and transition into teaching a Gospel Principle. If you havent had the chance to watch the Light The World video, go do it right now. It shows us that one thing that we need to do to come closer to Christ is to serve, and who doesnt love serving other people. The Great Outdoors

Letter from May 29 What a great week full of great things like the Great outdoors. We had zone conferences this week which were a little different than normal zone conferences, Not a single missionary was wearing a White shirt and tie. The meeting was at the Timbers camp over near Dayton, WA. Who knew that there was actually green here in this part of Washington!! It was beautiful and I felt at home being out in the Woods sitting in a camp chair wearing Jeans and a t-shirt. We had 4 different stations where we would listen to them talk about Gospel topics, like Revelation, coping with difficulties in the mission, and working with our Ward leaders. It was just great being outside in the woods in God's creation and feeling the spirit super strongly. So just last night we found someone named Heilmer, well... He walked right into our hands. He just moved into a home with one of the members about a week ago and is just getting thrown into the Gospel. They took him to the temple and...
