Letter from Nov 6

This week went by way too fast. I just want time to slow down.
it was Halloween and that is weird because that means Thanksgiving is this month and then it is Christmas next month. Wowzers. I swear I just entered into the MTC..

Grandview is a fun place, kinda sketchy but it is great! Halloween was this week and that was pretty fun cuz people though it was weird that people were knocking on their doors really early for trick or treating and realized that it was just a couple of young men knocking on the door trying to give them the sweetest treat they will ever receive. lots of people let us in and listen, and they are some of the nicest people here in Grandview.

And it snowed here. it is pretty cold, i think this week the average has been around like 38 maybe, and on Saturday to Monday it snowed! It was a baby snow and nothing compared to Utah snow but hey, snow is snow. COLD.

This week I finished reading the Book of Mormon, and I know that it is a true book of scripture. When we read the Book of Mormon and pray daily, we grow closer to our Heavenly Father in so many ways. But I read the promise in Moroni 10 and after I got on my knees and did what it says. I asked God, in the name of Jesus Christ if the Book of Mormon is true, and I honestly know, deep down in my heart and in my soul that it is true.  I Encourage all of you to go read the Book of Mormon before this year ends and then when you do, Email me your testimony of it.

Letter from Dec 4 This week, there was a Nativity showcase in West Richland and we were given the opportunity to usher and greet people at it. It was really quite neat to see all the different Nativity sets from all around the world. Every classroom in the Church was packed full of them. It was cool. about 10 minutes after we had left the showcase, we got a call from Ricardo and Sujey saying that they were just pulling up to the church and were wondering if we were gonna be there. But Sadly we werent able to be there with them. Last week Elder Anderson were teaching Ricardo and Sujey and they told us that he was having some bounce back pains from the frostbite he had last year from working out in the fields. After they told us, Sujey had told him a little bit about Priesthood blessing and shared some experiences that she has had from receiving them. Letter from Nov 27 This week was FULL of miracles, like literally. I was stuffed full on thanksgiving, Martin got the Priesthood, and priesthood blessings. Thanksgiving was awesome, i love pigging out and eating all the food i can. Especially turkey, I love turkey. On thanksgiving we were asked not to go out Tracting so we went around sharing #LightTheWorld and offering our service to people. It was a wonderful day. We ate dinner with some members and got to look at some really cool cars, They had a 58 Chevy Camaro and a 28 Chevy. After dinner we had a Zone council and talked a lot about how we can use Light the World and transition into teaching a Gospel Principle. It shows us that one thing that we need to do to come closer to Christ is to serve, and who doesnt love serving other people. The Great Outdoors

Letter from May 29 What a great week full of great things like the Great outdoors. We had zone conferences this week which were a little different than normal zone conferences, Not a single missionary was wearing a White shirt and tie. The meeting was at the Timbers camp over near Dayton, WA. Who knew that there was actually green here in this part of Washington!! It was beautiful and I felt at home being out in the Woods sitting in a camp chair wearing Jeans and a t-shirt. We had 4 different stations where we would listen to them talk about Gospel topics, like Revelation, coping with difficulties in the mission, and working with our Ward leaders. It was just great being outside in the woods in God's creation and feeling the spirit super strongly. So just last night we found someone named Heilmer, well... He walked right into our hands. He just moved into a home with one of the members about a week ago and is just getting thrown into the Gospel. They took him to the temple and...
