Letter from Sept 11

This week has been good, not that much has happened but the things that did happen were amazing!!

We found 3 new investigators this week and they are solid. Two of them are Hortencia and Carlos, a couple with 2 kids, one of them is 20 and the other is 15 i believe. On Saturday, they fed us dinner and we had a really great lesson about the Doctrine of Christ. We ate and talked, just to kinda get to know them more. After dinner we started talking about religion and their beliefs in Christ. They have really strong Faith in Christ and in his teachings. We got talking about baptism with them and of course, we invited them to be baptized. They said not yet, They want to know more about it all. But i definitely feel that if we keep on teaching them and show them that we love them, we can get them to come closer to Christ.

The other new investigator is another Carlos. We met Carlos when we were actually going to see his dad, Carlos. There are TONS of people named Carlos. So the first thing he asked us is if we had an extra bible that we could lend him, We didnt at the time so we said that we could get him one and would bring it by. So we set up a time to come by later and I told him about the Book of Mormon and how it teaches along with the Bible.  That really sparked his attention. We then sat down and taught him about the BOM and the Restoration of the Gospel. We have a return appointment and am excited to start teaching him as well.

This week we have been talking to everybody we see, and I have seen so many little miracles come out of it. We have found more people to teach and have gained more Faith in finding. I am loving Being a missionary as I have said before. I Love it.

Letter from Dec 4 This week, there was a Nativity showcase in West Richland and we were given the opportunity to usher and greet people at it. It was really quite neat to see all the different Nativity sets from all around the world. Every classroom in the Church was packed full of them. It was cool. about 10 minutes after we had left the showcase, we got a call from Ricardo and Sujey saying that they were just pulling up to the church and were wondering if we were gonna be there. But Sadly we werent able to be there with them. Last week Elder Anderson were teaching Ricardo and Sujey and they told us that he was having some bounce back pains from the frostbite he had last year from working out in the fields. After they told us, Sujey had told him a little bit about Priesthood blessing and shared some experiences that she has had from receiving them. Letter from Nov 27 This week was FULL of miracles, like literally. I was stuffed full on thanksgiving, Martin got the Priesthood, and priesthood blessings. Thanksgiving was awesome, i love pigging out and eating all the food i can. Especially turkey, I love turkey. On thanksgiving we were asked not to go out Tracting so we went around sharing #LightTheWorld and offering our service to people. It was a wonderful day. We ate dinner with some members and got to look at some really cool cars, They had a 58 Chevy Camaro and a 28 Chevy. After dinner we had a Zone council and talked a lot about how we can use Light the World and transition into teaching a Gospel Principle. It shows us that one thing that we need to do to come closer to Christ is to serve, and who doesnt love serving other people. The Great Outdoors

Letter from May 29 What a great week full of great things like the Great outdoors. We had zone conferences this week which were a little different than normal zone conferences, Not a single missionary was wearing a White shirt and tie. The meeting was at the Timbers camp over near Dayton, WA. Who knew that there was actually green here in this part of Washington!! It was beautiful and I felt at home being out in the Woods sitting in a camp chair wearing Jeans and a t-shirt. We had 4 different stations where we would listen to them talk about Gospel topics, like Revelation, coping with difficulties in the mission, and working with our Ward leaders. It was just great being outside in the woods in God's creation and feeling the spirit super strongly. So just last night we found someone named Heilmer, well... He walked right into our hands. He just moved into a home with one of the members about a week ago and is just getting thrown into the Gospel. They took him to the temple and...
