Letter  from August 28

Wow I can not believe that I have been in the field for 1 transfer. It is amazing how fast time flies. So transfers, I am staying in Walla Walla and I am receiving a new companion. His name is Elder Sanchez and that is all I really know about him. I am so excited to get to know him tomorrow! My current companion is dying. he is headed back home...:'(  tis really sad but I am so excited for him to start his new journey back in the good ol state of Utah. I have really loved my time with Elder Stevens. He is one amazing Elder.

So something awesome happened this week, we finally got someone on date for baptism!!!!!!! His name is Geraldo Gomez and he seems super solid. He is the uncle of a part member family that we used to teach and has heard really good things about the church! We taught him the Plan of Salvation and he was really excited to hear that everybody gets the chance to learn and do what he is doing right now with us in the life after this. He accepted to be baptized but just isn't sure on the date yet just because of work. We are hoping for the 23rd of September!! I am so excited to get to teach him more!

There is a set of part time Missionaries that are serving in our branch, their names are Elder and Sister Fielding. They are quite amazing people. They own this bed and breakfast called Cameo Heights. They origionally built the mansion for themselves to live in until they ran into some financial problems and so they turned it into a hotel. Well they were nice enough to have us over for dinner yesterday and it was AMAZING. The house is massive and beautiful. They are just such amazing people and I love them so much.

Welp things are going absolutely great here with Me. I am stoked to serve here in Walla Walla for another transfer!

Letter from Dec 4 This week, there was a Nativity showcase in West Richland and we were given the opportunity to usher and greet people at it. It was really quite neat to see all the different Nativity sets from all around the world. Every classroom in the Church was packed full of them. It was cool. about 10 minutes after we had left the showcase, we got a call from Ricardo and Sujey saying that they were just pulling up to the church and were wondering if we were gonna be there. But Sadly we werent able to be there with them. Last week Elder Anderson were teaching Ricardo and Sujey and they told us that he was having some bounce back pains from the frostbite he had last year from working out in the fields. After they told us, Sujey had told him a little bit about Priesthood blessing and shared some experiences that she has had from receiving them. Letter from Nov 27 This week was FULL of miracles, like literally. I was stuffed full on thanksgiving, Martin got the Priesthood, and priesthood blessings. Thanksgiving was awesome, i love pigging out and eating all the food i can. Especially turkey, I love turkey. On thanksgiving we were asked not to go out Tracting so we went around sharing #LightTheWorld and offering our service to people. It was a wonderful day. We ate dinner with some members and got to look at some really cool cars, They had a 58 Chevy Camaro and a 28 Chevy. After dinner we had a Zone council and talked a lot about how we can use Light the World and transition into teaching a Gospel Principle. It shows us that one thing that we need to do to come closer to Christ is to serve, and who doesnt love serving other people. The Great Outdoors

Letter from May 29 What a great week full of great things like the Great outdoors. We had zone conferences this week which were a little different than normal zone conferences, Not a single missionary was wearing a White shirt and tie. The meeting was at the Timbers camp over near Dayton, WA. Who knew that there was actually green here in this part of Washington!! It was beautiful and I felt at home being out in the Woods sitting in a camp chair wearing Jeans and a t-shirt. We had 4 different stations where we would listen to them talk about Gospel topics, like Revelation, coping with difficulties in the mission, and working with our Ward leaders. It was just great being outside in the woods in God's creation and feeling the spirit super strongly. So just last night we found someone named Heilmer, well... He walked right into our hands. He just moved into a home with one of the members about a week ago and is just getting thrown into the Gospel. They took him to the temple and...
