Surpise text sent to Mom!

On  Wednesday June 28 I got a text from an unknown number with a picture of Cole.  An hour later I got this response.

Sorry I didn't introduce myself!! I am tammie belliston I volunteer at the mtc on Wednesdays to help the missionary hosts welcome in the new missionaries. - the boy in the picture with your son is our neighbor- also going to the Kennewick washington mission! 
Your son was so excited for me to send you this picture! 
Here is what I sent his parents- I want you both to know that when the hosts showed up today I was drawn to one in particular as I was giving them their weekly speech 😊
I talked to this elder and found out he was going to elder Crump's mission! 
( a total non coincidence! As brett and I call them.) I told him I know an elder going to your mission - you are going to host him! HE was so excited about meeting elder c and he waited and watched for your van. 
Heavenly Father wanted someone going to elder c's mission to welcome him in and help him through the process today. You can tell this host missionary is just solid !!!!Evidence to me that he is already being watched over- both the elders actually .
I mean seriously out of 100 hosts and I am promoted to talk to that ONE!
I have to say your son Stands out amongst the missionaries- he literally glows- 
After being at the mtc for three years there are some elders and sisters that just stand out- your son is one of them- he will be an amazing missionary!

Letter from Dec 4 This week, there was a Nativity showcase in West Richland and we were given the opportunity to usher and greet people at it. It was really quite neat to see all the different Nativity sets from all around the world. Every classroom in the Church was packed full of them. It was cool. about 10 minutes after we had left the showcase, we got a call from Ricardo and Sujey saying that they were just pulling up to the church and were wondering if we were gonna be there. But Sadly we werent able to be there with them. Last week Elder Anderson were teaching Ricardo and Sujey and they told us that he was having some bounce back pains from the frostbite he had last year from working out in the fields. Letter from Nov 27 This week was FULL of miracles, like literally. I was stuffed full on thanksgiving, Martin got the Priesthood, and priesthood blessings. Thanksgiving was awesome, i love pigging out and eating all the food i can. Especially turkey, I love turkey. On thanksgiving we were asked not to go out Tracting so we went around sharing #LightTheWorld and offering our service to people. It was a wonderful day. We ate dinner with some members and got to look at some really cool cars, They had a 58 Chevy Camaro and a 28 Chevy. After dinner we had a Zone council and talked a lot about how we can use Light the World and transition into teaching a Gospel Principle. It shows us that one thing that we need to do to come closer to Christ is to serve, and who doesnt love serving other people. The Great Outdoors

Letter from May 29 What a great week full of great things like the Great outdoors. We had zone conferences this week which were a little different than normal zone conferences, Not a single missionary was wearing a White shirt and tie. The meeting was at the Timbers camp over near Dayton, WA. Who knew that there was actually green here in this part of Washington!! It was beautiful and I felt at home being out in the Woods sitting in a camp chair wearing Jeans and a t-shirt. We had 4 different stations where we would listen to them talk about Gospel topics, like Revelation, coping with difficulties in the mission, and working with our Ward leaders. It was just great being outside in the woods in God's creation and feeling the spirit super strongly. So just last night we found someone named Heilmer, well... He walked right into our hands. He just moved into a home with one of the members about a week ago and is just getting thrown into the Gospel. They took him to the temple and...
